Meet the archetypes
Patterns of personality that keep showing up in stories, myths and real lives.

The Innocent
The archetype of kept goodness. She decides daily that the world is worth trusting, and her profile covers what that choice gives her and what it can cost her.
- Optimistic
- Trusting
- Sincere

The Everyman
The archetype of ordinary decency. He keeps promises, shows up and holds groups together, and his quiet risk is disappearing into what everyone else needs.
- Dependable
- Honest
- Grounded

The Hero
The archetype of courage under test. He measures himself against hard things, and his growth begins the day the victory has to matter to someone besides him.
- Courageous
- Driven
- Resilient

The Caregiver
The archetype of quiet devotion. He notices what people need before they ask, and his hardest lesson is pouring from a cup he also refills.
- Patient
- Protective
- Attentive
What people say after the test
Wow! The art is absolutely stunning - that's what hyped me up to actually sit down and do the quiz. And the Huntress description? Uncomfortably close to home.

Accurate, detailed, and most importantly, fun. I did it with my coworkers - everyone got a different archetype, and we spent the rest of the afternoon laughing at how well the traits held up :D

I went in expecting something generic and got the opposite. Dreamy, attached to the people I love - that's me on paper now, apparently.

Got questions?
What are the 12 archetypes?
The Innocent, Everyman, Hero, Caregiver, Explorer, Rebel, Lover, Creator, Jester, Sage, Magician and Ruler. Each one is a distinct answer to how a person meets the world, and each has a full profile with strengths and shadow side.
Are these the archetypes Carl Jung wrote about?
Jung introduced the idea that recurring characters live in the human psyche. The set of 12 used here is the modern map built on his work, the same set most archetype writing uses today. The test is made for self-discovery, not for clinical or hiring decisions.
How does the test decide which archetype I am?
Every one of the 70 statements feeds weighted scores to all 12 archetypes at once. At the end the test reads your whole pattern and names the archetype you lean on the most. One unusual answer will not tip you into the wrong type.
Can I be more than one archetype?
You carry all 12 in some mix, and most people have one or two close runners-up behind their leading archetype. The test names your strongest pattern. If two were nearly tied, the profile of your runner-up will usually feel familiar too.
What does the shadow side of my archetype mean?
Every archetype has a gift and a cost, and the shadow side is the same energy running unchecked. A Ruler slides into control, a Lover into losing themselves in others. The profile shows both sides, because the shadow is usually the most useful part to read.
What if no answer feels exactly right?
Pick the one that is closest, even when it is not perfect. The statements are graded, not yes or no, and the scoring is built for close calls. Your overall pattern decides the result, so one approximate answer changes very little.
Which of the 12 are you?
Seventy quick statements, about five minutes, and an honest result at the end.
